—"Rick, I got the SuperSlide on Saturday and applied it yesterday (Sunday) pretty much as directed. I didn't have any Superslick silicon so I had to leave that out of the application. When I cleaned the inside of the outer tubes with the brass cleaner, I got barely any black on my cheesecloth probably because the trombone is quite new. I then proceeded on with the cleaning solution and got some black out of the slide but not much, then applied the SuperSlide treatment as directed. After applying my Superslick and spraying a little water, I started playing with various recordings. Right away the slide got smoother and I continued on for another half hour or so. I just finished practicing a bunch of things that I have for an upcoming traditional jazz concert. I must tell you that as of this point, and it has only been one day since I applied your produce, my slide has really taken off and it is as smooth, light and fast as I could have hoped for. I can't imagine it getting quicker, but I would imagine after another treatment when I definitely have all traced of black residue out of it I should have a top-notch slide. Boy am I glad I happened upon your website and product. Now I will have to attack my King slides with it. You can bet it won't be the last tome I order this. I have been playing trombone for over 37 years and teaching for 19. I have always thought I had one of the smoothest operating slides around. I took great care in applying just the right amount of Superslick to the inner slide, spraying it with water and working it until it was smooth and quiet. I was always very satisfied that I had it working as smooth as possible, until now, that is. After cleaning my outer slide, following the instructions you sent, I applied the SuperSlide Teflon treatment to the inside of my outer slide. I thought there might be a slight improvement in the operation of my slide, but I never imagined it would be like this! My slide is virtually friction fee! I have shown it to quite a few friends and all of them have been very impressed. I guess now I'll have to start practicing more, because I can't blame it on my slide anymore.
