Instructions for Use

For best results, polish inside of outer tubes with a water base brass polish such as Wright's Brass Polish. After a thorough polishing, rinse outer tubes and dry with a clean cloth.

THE PROCEDURE

Wrap a rag around the full length of a cleaning rod. The rag should fit snugly into the outside tube, but not so tight as to require force to move it. Be sure to hold the tube you are cleaning. Place about a tablespoon of the cleaner (Pretreatment) on the rag and thoroughly wipe the inside of the tube with the product. The rag should become very black as you clean the tube. Repeat the process for the other outer tube.

Remove the soiled portion of the rag and re-wrap the rod. Wipe out each tube with the clean rag until no more black appears on the rag.

You are now ready to apply the sealer (SuperSlide). Using a clean rag, apply a tablespoon of the sealer (SuperSlide) to the rag and wipe the inside of each outer tube for eight to ten seconds. Cover all of the inside surfaces. Using another clean rag, wipe out any remaining product and buff lightly.

Lubricate as usual. We recommend Superslick and silicone oil with the Superslick on the inside of the outer tubes and the oil on the inside tube surfaces.

NOTE: It will require several applications of the lubrication to remove the residue from the treatment. Each cleaning will result in a faster, smoother slide.
